The Doppel
A downloadable game for Windows
Their name is Posha. They have no vocation to speak of save for one, and that is impersonation. This masterclass doppelganger can recede bone and slide muscle to adopt whatever form they please. Manipulation is their enterprise and altruism is their disinterest. Today, they’ll use this gift to its utmost.
The Doppel is a short, single-player social deception game. Assume a persona and try to impersonate that person and trick people into giving you what you need.
There are two endings.
This is a prototype, solely developed by myself in two weeks for Adventure Jam 2023.

The pathfinding got a bit confused at the bottom of the stairs, but since this is a prototype, it's not much of a problem. A game around switching to doppelgangers at will is an interesting concept. It opens up a myriad of possibilities for clever puzzles and story twists. Definitely a lot of potential here.
